Gosh, I’d love to take the train to Texas this summer to visit my folks, but this is outrageous. From Asheville to Houston requires driving to Charlotte to catch the train, then 2 days on the train going through Washington DC and Chicago, to finally arrive in Longview, TX where we hop on a 4 1/2 hour bus ride. That just doesn’t seem even remotely realistic.
