Texas: I'm Glad I Left Ya
Here are some stats about education in Texas.
Verbal SAT scores: ranked 49th in the nation
Math SAT scores: ranked 46th in the nation
Percentage of adults with a high school diploma: ranked 50th in the nation
3 out of every 10 kids who start school don’t finish
Only 20% of 8th graders are proficient at grade level in math
But Governor Rick Perry refuses federal money for education...
